VIRTRIUM LLC ANNOUNCES Major Changes to New Player Experience

June 14, 2011 PHOENIX, Arizona - Virtrium LLC, in a special press release today, announced a summary of changes to the game Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted.

“We’ve been very busy over the first few months of the year!” said Producer Heather Rothwell. “The portal system revamp is out the door, and our changes to the new player experience for levels 1 to 10 have been completed. We quite excited about the changes, so much that I’ve even started a new character just to see it all!”

The “portal system” is a system of travel gates and destination pads spread across the world of Istaria to enable players to get from one place to another. “We recognize how important it is for players to be able to transport resources from the field to where they are building, and make it simple to move about the world. Istaria is a vast land that would take a long time to run across, even without a cargo disk slowing the player down, so the portal system is key to players having a fun play experience,” Mrs. Rothwell went on to say.

The revamp of New Trismus, the first area players encounter when starting new characters, is central to involving characters in the storyline and world of Istaria. With the introduction of dozens of new quests and a redesign of the monster spawn layout, the team feels that they have a solid play experience for the new player.
