VIRTRIUM LLC ANNOUNCES NEW PLAYER EXPERIENCE

April 10, 2012 PHOENIX, Arizona - Virtrium LLC announced today changes to the region known as Lesser Aradoth, lands that players of levels 10 through 25 use to advance their character.

In an ongoing effort to make the new player experience smoother, we’ve incorporated many changes to the first main island that players will encounter. “We've wanted to update this island with new storylines for a while, and this update does that,” said Heather Rothwell, Producer of Istaria. “In addition to tying the whole area together with one large story arch, we’ve added many smaller stories out of both Kion and Sslanis. These stories will help players build their own unique character’s story within the framework of the game.” Dozens of new quests have been included with this update, as well as refining the monster spawns so that players will be guided from Kion to Sslanis, and around the island to Bridgeview.

This also smooths out the transition to the previously revamped “tier 2” (levels 20 to 40) region around Bristugo and the Dalimond peninsula. With some overlap in content, players now have a choice of when to move on to higher level monsters so that they will have adventuring content more consistent with various play styles.
